Into The Wild
Painting those pets too big to fit indoors!
Depending on where you live in the world, your pets may be a little bigger.
Some of our clients have horses, deer, and even bears in the back garden.
Below is a selection of my favourites and the stories behind them. But if you can't wait and want to see what we have in stock then just click here
Name: Buck in the Northen Lights
Date: 2015
Inspiration: Back in 2015, I was going through a silhouette phase. Everything had to be silhouetted. The idea behind this technique is to achieve powerful artwork with minimal detail.
This piece is so special to me because never did I expect to be able to achieve the detail in telling a story of the powerful northern lights sky while telling the story of a pacing buck focusing on its next move.
The result was beyond anything I could have dreamed of.
Name: The White Stallion
Date: 2015
Inspiration: I always wanted to paint a horse. That's it really, that simple.
I had an idea in my mind and knew what emotions I wanted to convey through the artwork and so I set to work on this piece.
I particularly love that the background really boosts the Horse and almost pushes her right off the canvas.
Name: The Wolf
Date: 2015
Inspiration: The wolf was originally designed to be a pet art course (www.outreachart.org)
But as I continued to work on this piece after the camera had finished filming I began to fall in love with it more and more.
Never had I been so captured by the incredible depth and detail that the eyes ensued.
